What is behind the bar

Cask ale and keg, wine and spirits, alcohol-free and soft drinks, tea and coffee, a function room and the regular fixtures in the calendar.

A short, well-kept selection rather than a long one nobody gets through. Lines cleaned on schedule.

A sensible wine list and a proper back bar, with measures poured as they should be.

A real choice for anyone not drinking — driving, pregnant, or simply not in the mood.

Served all day, because a pub is also somewhere to sit in the afternoon.

The room, or part of it, for a wake, a birthday or a meeting — arranged directly with us.

Quiz nights and the regular fixtures in the calendar, posted inside and on request.

Driving, or not drinking?

Ask at the bar. The alcohol-free list is a proper one and we would rather you had something you actually want.
