3a. Licensed premises, age verification and service
These are licensed premises and alcohol is supplied under a premises licence granted under the Licensing Act 2003. Alcohol is sold only to persons aged 18 or over. We operate Challenge 25: if you appear to be under 25 we will ask for photographic identification showing your date of birth, such as a passport, a photocard driving licence or a PASS-accredited card, and we will refuse the sale if it is not produced. It is an offence to buy or attempt to buy alcohol for a person under 18, and we will refuse service where we believe that is what is happening. It is an offence to sell alcohol to a person who is drunk, and we will refuse service accordingly; we may also refuse service, refuse entry or ask a person to leave at our discretion, including where behaviour puts others at risk. Alcohol is supplied only during the hours and subject to the conditions of our premises licence, which may change. Children. Admission of persons under 18 is subject to the conditions of our premises licence and to our own house policy; where under-18s are admitted they must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who remains responsible for them. Please ask us before bringing children if you are unsure. We do not run irresponsible promotions, and nothing on this website is intended to encourage rapid or excessive consumption of alcohol. Please drink responsibly.
3b. Food, allergens, functions and the premises
Where we serve food, our kitchen handles the fourteen allergens required to be declared under assimilated Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, allergen information is available on request before you order, and because the same kitchen and equipment are used we cannot guarantee any item is free from traces of a given allergen. Please tell us about any allergy or intolerance before you order, and when you book a function. Drinks, lines and availability change; anything shown or described on this website is indicative and subject to availability. Functions. Private and function bookings are confirmed in writing, and final numbers, timings and any dietary requirements must be given by the date we tell you when booking; any deposit and cancellation terms are set out at the time of booking, and charges are based on confirmed numbers. Where we apply an optional service charge it is shown separately and may be removed on request. We are not responsible for personal belongings left on the premises, and lost property is held for a limited period only. Nothing on this website is medical, dietary or nutritional advice.
